Laura Meyers is an emerging artist who resides in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. After a brief stint as an illustrator she followed her true calling to painting where she can give her thought-provoking subjects the due space and detail that they truly deserve.

Laura's paintings introduce the viewer to a world, where the subjects show all of their emotions, fears, and hopes right on the surface. “I paint what I know and experience. I paint the people around me. But, I paint a version of these people in their most vulnerable emotional states. I capture a rendition of them that is truly naked, and show it without fear of judgment."
